Reminder: Money orders must be payable to JPay

We want to make sure that if you send us a money order to be processed that we can do just that – process it.  So please make sure you follow the guidelines, which includes making sure all money orders and cashier’s checks are payable to JPay.

Feel free to include the recipient’s name or ID number on the “memo” or “used for” line, but the “payable” section of any money order or cashier’s check MUST be made out to JPay.  Money orders made payable to anyone other than JPay will be denied and returned to you by mail.

Hi Carolyn – There are several options available to fund your loved ones account, whether by internet or over the phone with a representative. However, with CHRIS WARNER current account status, you can only use a Money Order or Cashiers Check. These are usually obtainable at your local grocery store, your back or Walmart, Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thanks!

Why does it have to be a money order or cashier check? I use my debit card for everything and it is difficult to obtain a money order.

Hi Cassandra – The money order must be made payable to JPay. However, the individual whose account you will be funding name and DOC number should be on the Deposit Slip. Thanks!
