JPay Goes Pink! Creating an Opportunity for Inmates to Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer

October is National Breast Cancer Month, and this year JPay partnered with the American Cancer Society to provide incarcerated individuals the opportunity to support the fight against a disease that takes thousands of lives each year. October is flooded with pink products, but it’s incredibly difficult for incarcerated individuals to make those meaningful purchases…well it was until this year!

For the month of October, the JPay team manufactured  limited edition pink products to help support and bring awareness to breast cancer. Facilities in the state of North Dakota, Ohio, and Washington had the option to purchase a pink-colored model of “JP5s 7” in addition to  pink protective cases. The pink tablets sold out in one week and we’re almost sold out of the pink protective cases!

By offering the pink-colored tablet and cases, incarcerated loved ones can have a tangible representation of their passion for the cause, something they own and use every day, not just a simple receipt from a monetary donation.

We’re honored to be able to bring this opportunity to facilities across the country and hope to expand these efforts in the years to come.

Please note that pink JP5s tablets are sold out and the pink protective cases can only be purchased from the JPay kiosks. (In select facilities)

Hi Carrie – At this time, the pink-colored model of JP5s is only available as an upgrade if your loved one has no player at all or the JP5 mini. If your loved one wants to purchase a new device, the current device would have to be sent home as inmates cannot possess more than 1 player at a time. Please be mindful, the promotion for the Pink JP5s ends November 1 this year.

Hello. My fiancé already has the JP5s. He wants to upgrade to the pink one. He does not have the option to purchase it as he has seen on others accounts. Why is he not getting this option to upgrade? He has put in a trouble ticket but is getting no response. Thank you

My son Nathan Bernal-812189 at Clallam Bay C.C. purchased the pink Jplayer and turned in his other one. To date he has not received it. I checked his tracking number at Fed-ex 706 111 629 724. It states that it was sent and received in Clallam Bay 9/23/16. I spoke with property this am and was told that his was not received? J-pay had not sent it! Appreciate if this investigated!
