    Hi Davita – Your loved ones emails could be flagged for review, which would cause a delay in delivery. If the emails you send do not meet the guidelines of the DOC, then they may be discarded. If you are still experiencing delays, please email Support@JPay.com and our Customer Service team will look into your account and see what is causing the issue. Thanks!

    Rumor has it that Missouri will have phone service available on their tablets when they become available. Is that true? Secureus is currently the phone service provider, so I am curious if they are pairing up with Jpay or is Jpay going to offer that service? With only 3 phones being available in a housing unit that would be a great benefit to have. Just curious.

    When I heard of J Pay I called up to SCCC 2 times and they told me both times it was a rumor. So I took that it was then this last weekend I could not send email through Access Corrections and had to wait till Monday to call mail room. So I or him was never notified of this. It is what it is though. Just wondering about the tablets now. How much are they? You say they are free but that does not sound right. Does he buy it from the canteen? Do I buy it from you and you send it to him? What are they able to do on them. What is this all going to cost?

    Hi Amanda – Please email support@jpay.com for information on the character limit per stamp for emails. In addition, JPay is currently working with the DOC on a deployment plan, and once those dates are finalized for each facility, we’ll inform customers regarding when they can expect their free device!

    I formerly used Jpay and did not have a problem. Now I get an email saying that access corrections is no longer the provider. I sent money to my son through Jpay who has not received it because I am told that my account is on hold. However, the money has been debited from my checking account. I received an email saying that a copy my ID and a copy of my debit card was needed. That has been sent, but still no release of the hold that Jpay put on the account! What is going on?????

    I am not happy about this company for multple reasons:
    1. we now have to pay for sending an email and now we are being charged to send an email;
    2. I have to keep a credit card on file on this website.

    WHY? I don’t feel safe leaving my credit card info on file with a company I have never heard of before but regardless, I never have to save my credit card information on any website, why can’t I enter my credit card the day I send something and not have it saved to your website???
    WHY do we now have to pay for email? We should be entitled to send one free email a day, just as before and if you want to charge to send more than one email a day, then charge people. WTH… I’m so upset, we can hardly afford what we pay for now. This is BS!

    My husband is incarcerated at JCCC and I was told that I now am able to send an email to him with the purchase of some stamps however, I was not aware that 1 email would cost me 3 of the stamps. I thought that it was per email for 1 stamp not per page. Exactly how many characters are allowed on a page and also is there someone I can talk with concerning the tablets because this whole when the services become available we will let you know rap is BS!! I would at least like a time frame or to at least be told that at JCCC they will not allow the tablets at all period, if it is a matter of the j5 replacing the j4 then I’m sure that whatever tablet they are able to get they will love. Even if it is an older model. Can you at least tell me if they are even planning on allowing access to the tablets at the level 5 Max Facilities please as that is where my husband is located.

    So, my question wasn’t answer. I wanted to know about the tablets being free. Why is Jpay handing out over 100,000 tablets to all the inmates in MO for FREE!!!? I appreciate it, but at what cost is it to m later.
    Christal I feel the same way, we use to be able to send emails for free with access and now we have to pay .25 cent to send an email, and we have to buy 10 at a time that does suck. Switching over to Jpay isn’t benefiting us to much.
    The cost to send money is too high, the higher we send the higher the processing fee is. Are you guys and when I say you guys I mean Jpay going to change the rates soon!!!?

    Hello,
    Will I ever be able to send attachments with email? Also I hope the tablet becomes available to Missouri. I think that is the best thing for reforming inmates – allowing them to take courses on line. I will keep my fingers crossed.

    To send money through JPay is very very expensive compared to access corrections, but yet JPay claims their prices are competitive, and also emailing with access corrections is free why isn’t it free through JPay? I feel that the price to send money should be the same as access corrections since you claim you have competitive pricing. Missouri switching to JPay seems to be a big mistake in my book considering the cost to use the service.

    Money already deposited into an inmates account prior to this transition will not be affected?!? Per customer service at securustech, i was informed they are affiliated with you, so to add money or email i would use jpay..for phone time i would use securustech…is this correct? Emails that i sent today on access corrections..will they even go to the inmate, because i spoke with access corrections and they weren’t aware of this transition. I honestly think this change is ridiculous..buying stamps to send e-mail, if we used stamps we would just mail a letter, and what company charges a “stamp fee ” for electronic mail besides jpay?

    I was just trying to send some friends and my husband an email, why is it saying they are not found. It is supposed to be active today. Also this is the only way to send money now, correct? What do the emails cost per email?
