If you have friends or loved ones who are inmates

JPay is the fastest way to put money into an inmate’s trust account with the money generally credited by the following morning – sometimes sooner. To send money friends and family can use a credit or a debit card. In some corrections systems JPay also provides electronic mail that is printed and delivered within 24 hours. To learn more about a particular state’s details, sign up for a free account. You will need the offender’s name and identification information. No credit card information is needed to sign up.

If you are a parolee who must make court ordered restitution payments

JPay gets the funds to the Department by the next banking day. JPay keeps a record of the transaction for proof of payment. JPay lets you have peace of mind knowing the payment is on its way.

If you are in possession of a JPay Release Debit Card

JPay’s website lets you look up your account information including card details, transaction history, and available balance. You can also edit your account information online.

If you work in corrections

JPay provides e-commerce solutions to correction institutions throughout the country. JPay’s money transfer system reduces or eliminates inmate money orders. JPay’s exit release card product eliminates the challenge associated with exit release checks. JPay’s inmate mail product reduces paper inmate correspondence.

JPay provides 24/7 customer service.

How do I set up the video visitation? Every time I click on video visits it brings me back to the home page. Where do I go from there?

    Hi Jasmine,

Not all faciities offer Video Visitation. You can check here to see if that service is available where your loved one is incarcerated. If it is available and you’re still having difficulty, try sending our customer service staff an email using the form found here.

    Hope this helps,
    JPay

Can someone tell me if the Marianna Federal Prison uses JPAY? I had trouble finding the website and nothing comes up, so I just wondered if JPAY is only a state prison thing? Thanks.

    Hi Kathy,

JPay does serve some federal prisons as well as state and county facilities. Unfortunately, we do not serve Marianna Federal Prison (yet!). You can see which faciities and DOCs are served by JPay here.
